Your words stay personal.
A Word From is designed to keep drafts and greetings private. Here is how the service uses the information you choose to share.
What you provide
We store the recipient’s name, optional pronunciation and age, occasion, personal details, script and audio needed to create your greeting. No account is required. Your browser stores only a draft reference so you can return to your greeting on the same device.
Creating your greeting
When live services are connected, OpenAI processes your details and script to write the message and direct its delivery, including when you provide your own script. Fish Audio processes the directed script and pronunciation guidance to generate speech. Stripe handles payment information securely. We do not store card numbers. These providers apply their own privacy policies and retention practices.
Sharing is your choice
Greetings are not publicly listed or indexed. A private sharing link is created only when you choose to share. Anyone with that link can listen, so share it thoughtfully. You can turn the link off from your greeting page. Keep your personal editing link to yourself.
Cookies and local storage
The service uses essential session cookies and a local draft reference for security and progress recovery. It does not require advertising cookies or third-party tracking to create a greeting.
Keep it comfortable
Please do not include confidential, sensitive or unnecessary personal information about the recipient. A first name and a few cheerful details are usually all a great greeting needs.
Your greeting
You can return to the same device to edit a draft or manage your sharing link. Closing your browser does not automatically delete a greeting. A production retention and data-request contact will be provided before public launch.
